Rick CooperRick Cooper began keeping bees in 1980 as a hobby.  In 1994 he was certified by the Eastern Apicultural Society as a Master Beekeeper and received the honor of Maine Beekeeper of the Year from the Maine State Beekeepers Association.

Dealer of a full line of woodenware and supplies from Brushy Mountain Bee Supply, Betterbee, Humble Abodes, Walter Kelley, and Dadant.

Beekeeping tools, woodenware, extractors, smokers, protective clothing, containers, labels, and more.

He teaches a number of “Bee Schools” all over the state of Maine as well as in Bowdoinham.

He also runs 100 colonies of bees in and around the Brunswick/Augusta area of Maine that produce superb honey.
